M35 is an open star cluster in Gemini. Visible to the upper right of M35 is
NGC 2158, a more distant, older and compact open cluster. Note the
difference in color of the stars. M35 consists of mostly young, bluish white
stars, while 2158 has mostly older, yellow stars. Photo taken 9-30-2005
and consists of 6 subframes of 60 seconds each
